DIRTY EGO

“Isn't it funny how we live inside the lies we believe?”

The hardest thing coming to terms with and letting go is that it turns out I was an investment to my father. My sisters and mother would be in complete denial of this, if they even knew the extent of the investment. 2 months ago, somewhere between an extended stay and knights inn, I was sorting through a box of old high school memories. I came a crossed Jill’s NAU school ID. Below her photo, were those 9 digits, SSN. I couldn’t help myself, I logged onto IRS and retrieved her available Tax refund from 2004 on so on. Jill was claimed as an employee at Greene Enterprises, making a grand total of  $130,000, income. I am not a lawyer, nor educated in law, though, something about it just isn’t right.

I feel bad for my mother, she is so brain-washed and mentally defeated. My father has her convinced. All the family vacations; Coronado Island, each year in Disneyland, traveling to over 38 states, well… we paid for those. So, un-thank you, Dad.
